The Biden Record, and the Democrats Who Supported It, Pt. 4: How Biden Blew Up the Economy With Inflation

The US economy is in chaos. This is not "spin," or "opinion," but a fact. Some people aren't feeling it as hard as others, because they were well-off before the inflation started. Unfortunately, the worst is yet to come, and it will affect those "well-off" people, to a greater degree than it does currently, as the recession sets in. It also will present a crisis for government, as the interest rates for the chronic borrowing that sustains all of their largesse double, triple, or even quadruple. How did we get here, after what was shaping up as a robust recovery from the pandemic response inspired recession?    When Pres. Biden was elected, almost every policy that had been in place was reversed. We've looked at the disatrous results of this on the southern border , but what's happened to our economy has impacted many more Americans. It started out on day one, when Biden killed the KeystoneXL pipeline, followed by freezing new federal leases

The Biden Record, and The Democrats Who Supported It, Part 3: Garland's DoJ and FBI Seek Domestic Threats, While Ignoring Crime and the Crisis on the Southern Border

I started to examine the DoJ's efforts to classify angry parents at school board meetings as domestic terror threats in my last post, but AG Garland has much more to answer for, as does his boss, Pres. Biden . We're going to start with a touchy subject, the mob that broke into the Capitol on Jan. 6th, 2021. There is no doubt that what happened there was an outrage, and a sometimes violent attempt to influence a political agenda. However, there were also people that just walked in, without violent intent. This is an event that deserves a fair examination, and release of all video and audio correspondence from that day. It would also be helpful for the FBI to release all info they received prior to that day about the potential threat, and what assets they had on the ground that day. None of this is forthcoming, and the Democratic Jan. 6th Comittee is not asking for any of it.     It appears that there were many FBI assets in the crowd, including the head of the Proud Boys . T

The Biden Record, and The Democrats Who Supported It, Part 2: COVID and Education Policy Failures

When Pres. Biden took office, the COVID vaccine was finally becoming available, and the newer variants were proving less lethal than the first wave. By late in the year, when the Omicron variant hit, even unvaccinated people were at low risk, if they didn't have any other medical conditions. Not that this kept the Biden administration, and Democrats across the country from extend their "emergency" powers and restrictions on the public. The politicized CDC was still advising people to wear masks outdoors until April, and then only the vaccinated  should be able to breathe freely outside. This was the same CDC that issued a ban on evictions, which the SCOTUS ultimately struck down .    One of the most glaring examples of the politicization of the CDC was the guidance on school closures. The CDC was ready to recommend that in person instruction should resume, in Feb. 2021. However, the teachers' union stepped in, and in a series of emails with the CDC, were able to

The Biden Record, and The Democrats Who Supported It: A Series on Graffiti Politti, Pt. 1

President Biden has been in office almost two years, and his policies are on the ballot in the 2022 mid-term elections. This is why the Democrats, and the Biden administration are pulling out all the stops to change the focus to anything else. Donald Trump, Roe v. Wade, the Jan. 6th riot, and now any one who supports "Make America Great Again" are all being served up by the sweet on Democrat media. It's been working, at least for the last few weeks, as both Biden's and generic Democrats' poll numbers have been rebounding.     However, whether that will last another two months until the election is an open question. In this series of posts, we will examine the Biden record, and how the Democratic congressional majorities enabled his policies, for better or worse.     We will start with a look at COVID policy, especially as it relates to education, as well as education policy, in general. Beyond the school closures, the Biden administration has supported "
