Don't Believe China's Protests About Racist "Sloping Eyes" Ads. It's a Hypocritical Attempt to Deflect Their Own Blatant Racism

If we are to take the reporting seriously, Mercedes Benz and other western companies have offended the Chinese people, causing a huge outburst on the social media network Weibo. How did this happen? They used makeup on a Chinese model "to give her exaggerated sloping eyes," according to the NY Post.

This is laughable on it's face, considering the regulation of private opinions that are allowed to be shared in public. However, the Post article also mentions this:
It’s not just the upmarket brands who are said to be out of touch. Last week, a model for Chinese snack brand Three Squirrels stood up against the brand’s detractors, asking, “Am I not Chinese?” Consumers had bristled over an unearthed ad campaign from 2019 featuring model Cai Niang Niang, who some said was played up in the ad for her “overly slanted eyes” and posed with her hair in braids, all of which plays into 19th-century Western stereotypes of Chinese people.

She wrote on Weibo on Sunday, according to the South China Morning Post, “With small eyes, am I not Chinese? I totally agree with patriotism. However, creating big problems out of normal matters has become a morbid obsession. I hope everybody can have a healthy mindset.”
Let's hope Ms. Niang remains safe, and doesn't disappear, as so many inconvenient subjects do. The reasons for this cultural attack on advertising by both foreign and domestic companies is vague, but it reminded me of something that happened at the recent summit between Chinese and American leaders, in Anchorage, Alaska. The Chinese diplomats used the criticisms of our country by American leftist progressives to declare our positions on human rights as illegitimate. It appears as if the CCP is trying to promote a new "cultural revolution" in America, to their own advantage.
The Communist leaders well understand how destructive their own cultural revolution was, so they are happy to aid our homegrown leftist progressives in destroying American culture. That they use "racism" as one of their main pillars is rich, considering how racist the CCP is. LeBron James feels free to criticize American racism, but he shows himself to be a bought and paid servant of the nation that routinely mocks Africans and African Americans in their state run media

What's worse, the Chinese "belt and road initiative" was nothing short of a modern version of colonialism, taking over African states without firing a round. Now that China can't afford it anymore, it's leaving them high and dry.
China has used it's economic power to advance the goals of the Communist Party, which are anathema to personal and economic freedom. This is why China's experiment with Capitalism is doomed for failure, and their admonitions of racism toward companies, both foreign and domestic, ring hollow. The fact is that while America is having a national debate about racial issues, the government's attempts at backing one side of it are backfiring spectacularly. That's because we are truly a free country, especially freedom of speech. Notice that the American Democrats constantly claim that Republicans are racists, and authoritarians, as they try to use the state to impose their "antiracist" solutions. It's no coincidence that the Chinese Communist Party is also taking that side, as they try to sow discord in the US.
