Progressives Are Not What They Claim To Be

   Progressive Democrats in the USA are a troubled group of diverse people. Apparently, they are being led by a minority of highly educated white men and women, whose agenda does not reflect either the Democrat party as a whole, much less the rest of the country. Blacks, Latinos, and Asians are waking up to the problems with the progressive agenda. It amazes me that the progressives have gotten away with it for so long. Sure, there are people of all races that are "progressive." My point is that most minority people don't share the progressive agenda, and they are starting to speak out.

   It sickens me to see the promotion of concepts with names like "antiracism," which actually advocate racism. It was preceded by, and might have been informed by the "Antifa" movement, which used Fascist tactics in the name of opposing "Fascism." What Fascism were they opposing? The democratic governments of Western nations, and capitalism, which stands for free markets and trade. These people are actually "anarchists," who just want to destroy law and order. 

   Look at the 1619 project, or the writing of Ibram X. Kendi. They discount the very progress that enables them to promote their misguided theories. If the USA is still the racist nation they claim it is, why are they reaping in corporate cash, as well as government contracts to instruct employees about this "antiracist" concept? Regular people of all races are seeing through this scam, and time is running out for them. Of course, some people will never let go, but race is just the first example of the progressive scamming.

   Wynn Bruce was a climate activist, and a Buddhist. He self-immolated on the steps of the SCOTUS on Earth Day, 2022. He was 50 years old. Again, this is where the progressive agenda actually harms it's followers. I only mention his religion because to Buddhists, that is not a sin, but a political statement. That's fine, but if nobody knows who you are, or what you're protesting, then you killed yourself for nothing.

   If John Kerry, the French-looking climate Czar of the incompetent Biden administration self-immolated, that would be newsworthy, and might change some minds. Okay, maybe not, but it would have more media impact. The real issue about climate change is not climate change, but how are the poorest people going to keep the lights on, and cook dinner. Not one progressive politician or pundit ever comments about that. They don't care, they just want to kill "fossil fuels," and let the poor fend for themselves. They remind me of Marie Antionette, saying "Let them eat cake." Well, the reaction may be the same...

   The greatest hypocrisy of the progressives is their opposition to conservative efforts to keep discussions about sex and gender from young children, and stopping minors from undergoing medical procedures that may damage them permanently, without parental notification, much less authorization. This is a HUGE issue that is finally being talked about openly. Texas has passed a bill holding parents liable for damages done to children regarding sexual transition, but many states allow the government to do it without informing the parents. The science of these treatments says they have great risks, and are likely harmful. POLITICS is overriding the science in states like California, and hundreds of children are the guinea pigs in this social justice experiment,  I hope these trans activist doctors and promoters pay some kind of price for the harm they are doing.

   Getting back to the classroom, the law in Florida allows teachers to say gay, or straight, in any conversation with a student. The progressives are lying about that. They can not use sex or gender in a lesson plan, and that is fine with a majority of people. The fact that Disney came out against it, with their record of producing sexually dysfunctional starlets, was not helpful to that cause. I just wonder, sometimes, why the "progressive" agenda ends up being so destructive to the people it claims to want to help?

   Let's face it. I could go on for hundreds of more examples. Progressives do have people of all colors, races, and religions. So do conservatives. This is the first of several posts I will share on this topic. There is much more to point out about why conservatism is not the racist ideology that progressives say it is. I hope to show that they actually are the true bigots, going far beyond racism. I'll let you decide.
