JOHN BOLTON DOES THE TIME WARP!

I just couldn't resist this one. Mark Steyn writes about UN ambassador appointee John Bolton's confirmation hearings. Apparently, Bolton is not qualified for this job because he chewed out two subordinates. The funniest part is reading the testimony saying that Bolton had his "hands on hips," to which I have to ask: Maybe he was just doing the TIME WARP?

HADITHA: WHAT WE FIGHT AGAINST

There is one thing missing from any commentary I've heard or read yet about the Haditha massacre. Marines are not trained to kill innocent civillians, but the terrorists are. What is alleged to have been done by these Marines is ordered on a daily basis by those we oppose in Iraq. Ordered by who? Zarqawi and others like him. Pres. Bush is not to blame for Haditha, regardless of how many want to pin it on him. Zarqawi orders his people to target civillians, while we prosecute war crimes by our own. The fact that there is a seperate investigation into a possible coverup by the military proves this point, hopefully leading to tighter scrutiny of the mid-level military bureaucracy. Since Haditha, Zarqawi has blown up hundreds of innocent Iraqis. Why hasn't the media focused their criticisms on these insurgents? RACE HUSTLERS' HATE SPEECH, AND THE DEMOCRATS WHO ENDORSE IT

Amy Ridenour's National Center Blog has an excellent post about a "civil rights" rally that was held in Atlanta over the weekend. Harry Belafonte got most of the media's attention, but a number of leading Democrats spoke there also. This is the stuff that few in the media question. Why do elected representatives, who all happen to be Democrats, get away with standing on the same stage from which such hateful racist rhetoric is being spewed? In fact, their own rhetoric echoed many of the points that the worst race-baiters made.
