SMACKFEST! - PIRRO VS. HILLARY

Sean Delonas, the infamous Page Six cartoonist for the NY Post, had the funniest take on the NY Senate race. I hope this link is still good (it requires registration, which should be free), and you can see how twisted this guy's sense of humor is. Thursday's 'toon is also about Pirro and Hil, with Bill thrown in, for good measure. This guy is another reason why the NY POST is MY hometown paper, even though I live a few miles outside of Queens. I have one criticism, though. Since Pirro came out with the first attack, she should be smacking Hillary. I bet Delonas doesn't like Hil, and as such doesn't want to play into her "victim" image, which always plays well in the polls when it surfaces. Still, a funny take on a BIG NY race, with more to follow, obviously.

For those who don't know, a NY radio station just got fined for having one of these "smackdown" contests, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be a bad idea for the Senate race. (JUST KIDDING!)

lol. It is always a good idea to let people know if they have to register. I know it's petty, but some of us don't like to! lol.

Great post. I was reading while trying to listen to Tony Snow and Ed Gillespi. Can't you guys find a pro-life person??? I am from NY, and I'm pro-life. That is one of the reasons many conservatives stay home. And ya'll think it's because we're not there. Do you realize how many votes I can get in NY?!

Granted, she is passionate. I like her, but I don't like her stands on many issues. She even said she would have stood with the traitorous 14! Aarrgg!

I used to live on 103 and 2nd! Hehehe. Have a great day.

OH, CRAP! I didn't know, because I registered on the NY POST so long ago, it just went there when I clicked the link from my PC! Sorry, Rosemary, I'll email you the comics, but I worry that the POST will object if I put them online (at LEAVART, the only place I know how to post pics). That was pretty stupid of me. I'll edit this post appropriately, to mention the (still free?) registration.

About Ms. Pirro, and her stance on abortion: politicians in this state are either scared to confront the libs on this, or they belive in "splitting the difference," or being pro-abortion for the first six months of a pregnancy. My greatest hope for Ms. Pirro, should she be elected, is that she would vote yes on a bill banning "partial birth abortions." This is enough for me to support her, as opposed to our current junior Senator.

The traitorous 14 are like heroes to the stupidest of NYers that follow politics. Think about it: a small group takes control for a day, and kicks both "established" parties RIGHT IN THE ASS! Somehow, that ethos resonates with the average pseudo-intellectual (and sub-intellectual) NYer. It even resonated with me to some degree, though I was disgusted with the seven Republicans for selling out.

I want you to look up Fred U. Dicker, also from the NY Post. This guy has all the dirt on this race, and advised Pirro to run for AG this time around in his column. He says this is only a victory for Pataki's advertising and PR people, and that Pirro is being used. Judging by how well her first press conference went, it looks like they are sabotaging her campaign, as well as siphoning off her money.

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IN NY STATE IS A TOTAL MESS. GOV. PATAKI, WHO CAME IN AS A CONSERVATIVE, AND LEFT WITH A REPUTATION AS BAD AS MARIO CUOMO. HE NOT ONLY SOLD HIMSELF OUT, HE SOLD OUT THE WHOLE REPUBLICAN PARTY IN THIS STATE. I AM DISGUSTED TO BE A REPUBLICAN IN NY STATE. THIS IS THE STATE OF OUR PARTY WHERE I LIVE.
