HOW DARE THEY! -SACRIFICING BUSH ON THE ALTAR OF "CIVIL LIBERTIES" DURING WARTIME

HOW DARE THEY?! -And by "they," I mean the reporter I saw on ABC's "Nightline" tonight (12/19) questioning VP Cheney, and all of the other MSM who persist in exposing sensitive war intelligence decisions, and framing them as "civil rights" issues...how dare the NY TIMES publish something so secret that they "sat on" it for a year, until just before the USA PATRIOT act is coming up for re-approval, and the author of the story is about to release a book on the same subject as the story?

This is not like Pres. Nixon spying on "enemies," nor comperable to any documented "abuses of power" by various presidents in the past. It is a president acting to protect the American people from the next terrorist attack. If President George W. Bush is to be crucified for this, he will be ten times the martyr that Pres. Clinton was for the (largely secular) Democrat base.

Congressional Republicans were already worried about the President's negative polls, and the intercept story is going to be used by the MSM to try to make them more scared. The Dem strategy is simple: win the majority back in Congress, and impeach Pres. Bush over this, or any of the other supposed "abuses" they claimed he's committed.

I have some advice for the Dems, and any Republicans that may want to fall into this trap: THE IMPEACHMENT OF PRES. CLINTON CONTRIBUTED TO THE FAILURES LEADING TO 9/11. DO NOT DO THE SAME THING TO PRES. BUSH, OR YOU INVITE THE NEXT, INEVITABLY LARGER, TERRORIST ATTACK. DON'T BE IDIOTS, THOUGH I KNOW THAT'S AGAINST YOUR NATURE AS POLITICIANS. GO AHEAD AND INVESTIGATE THIS, BUT IN CLOSED SESSION.

Before I sound like I'm saying this will happen, let me say emphatically that it probably won't. I'm just ranting at the hypocracy of the Dems and the MSM again, which is one of my main focuses here at LEAVWORLD.

I also noted his false promise of bipartisanship, and embrace of the far left agenda.       One can say many critical things about former Pres. Trump, many of which may be true. However, there is one thing that also is true, but is not critical: He has been the most unjustly accused president of the modern era. It's a fact: The "Russian collusion" allegations, which were not true.
